Alessio Olivieri was born in Rome on 15/05/1998. He graduated high school at the IIS Leonardo Da Vinci (Fiumicino) in 2017. In July 2020 he obtained the Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at Sapienza University of Rome with a grade of 110/110 cum laude. At the same University, in July 2022, he obtained the Master's Degree in Chemistry (Inorganic - Physical-Chemistry ) with a grade of 110/110 cum laude, defending an experimental thesis entitled "Theoretical-Computational Modeling of the Guanine Reduction Potential in DNA "(Supervisor: Prof. Marco D'Abramo). He won a collaboration grant at the Laboratory of Organic III in the Department of Chemistry at the Sapienza University of Rome (2020-2021). In addition, during his studies he carried out an internship at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB) in the group of Prof. Modesto Orozco in Barcelona, where he studied modified nucleic acids by means of Molecular Dynamics. Since November 2022 he has been holding a PhD scholarship in Chemical Sciences at the group of Prof. Marco D'Abramo.
