Ricerca: The relevance of self-regulation in empathy and empathy-related responses in a short-term and long-term framework

My research path during my doctoral program will focus on personality psychology, specifically on the relationship between Prosocial Behaviour, Empathy (Sympathy and Personal Distress), and Self-regulation, and how this relation relates overall to the individual's well-being.

My activities during the three-year program will be:
- studying the literature about my research topic;
- data collection;
- learning about software and statistical methods to implement data analysis;
- writing scientific papers;
- teaching assistant;
- tutoring undergraduate students.
