Alessandro Tofoni was born in San Benedetto del Tronto in 1997. In july 2019 he achieved the Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at Sapienza Università di Roma, graduating cum laude. In 2021, at the same institution, he earned a Master's Degree in Chemistry with a thesis titled "Determination of the structural properties and reactivity of a high entropy oxide via low-energy AP-XAS" and supervised by Professor Paola D'Angelo. During his studies he earned four collaboration grants as a laboratory assistant for younger students. He is currently a Chemical Sciences PhD student working in Professor Paola D'Angelo's XAMD group.
