Research: The War Imaginary in War Video Games: Representations, Ideologies, and Narratives.
PhD candidate in Peace Studies, Curriculum 8 - Imageries of peace in literatures, arts, philosophies with a research project entitled "The War Imaginary in War Video Games: Representations, Ideologies, and Narratives". In 2019, she graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Sciences of the Performing Arts at the University of Rome La Sapienza, with a thesis entitled "Fantasy, Science, and Science Fiction: From the Imaginary to the Image across Finney, Siegel, Shakespeare, Wilcox, and Greenaway". In 2021, she graduated with honors with a Master’s degree in Theatre, Cinema, Dance and Digital Arts at the University of Rome La Sapienza, with a thesis entitled "Title Sequences in Contemporary Television Series: From Twin Peaks to Tales From the Loop", which won the first edition of the "Francesco Valdiserri" graduation award. She has gained experience as a script supervisor and set assistant for short films, music videos, and feature films. In 2022, she completed a Master’s program in Computer Graphics at Bigrock and worked as a freelance 3D artist on animated short films and indie video games. She later expanded her training as a .NET developer, consolidating her skills through an internship at a leading cloud services and consulting company. She has also worked as a STEM and music theory instructor.
