Laboratory of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT)

A variety of research topics is dealt with in the Information and Communication Technology laboratory:

Digital Signaling;
Advanced Modulation and Multiplexing;
Multi-Standard Terminals;
Underwater Communications;
Visible Light Illumination and Communication;
Wired/Wireless Networking;
Ad Hoc Network Routing;
Cross-Layer Optimization For Heterogenous Networks;
Image and Video Processing and Transmission;
Mobile Video Streaming;
Compressive Sensing for Wireless Sensor Network;
Communication System Security;
Forensics;

Several personal computers equipped with simulation software (Matlab/Simulnk, OMNET++, OPNET) are made available to students to carry out MS students’ projects, MS theses and PhD research activities.

To reach the Laboratory, move towards the San Pietro In Vincoli Faculty internal yard, till you reach the Leonardo Da Vinci statue, and go up the stairs in front of that to the first floor.
