Research: History, Migration, Palimpsest— Trauma in the Works by Salman Rushdie and V. S. Naipaul
Yuhan Zhu is a PhD student enrolled in the programme in English Literatures, Cultures, Language, and Translation at the Sapienza University of Rome. In 2025, she obtained a Master’s degree in English language and literature at Renmin University of China. Her research project examines the reformulation of trauma and cultural memory through realism and magical realism as distinct narrative forms in the writings of Indian migrant authors. Her research interests include post-colonial studies and intercultural theatre.
