Vincenzo Scarano is a PhD student in "Engineering and Applied Science for Energy and Industry" of the Department of Astronautical, Electrical and Energy Engineering at Sapienza, University of Rome. His research activity focuses on the design, synthesis and characterization of oligothiophenic derivatives, which can find application, as organic semiconductors, in various electronic devices such as organic photovoltaics, photodetectors and field effect transistors.
He obtained the Master's Degree in Chemistry at "Sapienza, University of Rome" in 2020 with110 and honors.
He is co-author of six publications in peer-reviewed international journals and has taken part in two international Congresses, as a speaker.
