Research: AI, criminal trial and protection of fundamental rights

PhD candidate in "Public Law" - curriculum "law and criminal procedure" (XXXVII cycle) at "La Sapienza" University of Rome, Department of Legal and Economic Studies. He graduated with honors in law at Roma Tre University, discussing a thesis on criminal law in relation to administrative responsibility, on the topic of the relationship between the protection of the right to be silence and the administrative responsibility dependent on crime ex D.lgs. 231/2001. The supervisor of the graduation researches was Prof. Luca Lupària Donati. The candidate has started his legal practice in a law firm specializing in criminal law, with particular attention to criminal law of the economy and business. He attended the European school of Economics, advanced training course in "Advanced Criminal Law", concerning the analysis and study of the procedural strategies implemented by the parties in many well-known trials. He attended post-degree studies at the School of Specialization at Roma Tre University. He is qualified in practicing as a lawyer at the Rome Court of Appeal (session of 2019). The main research interests concern the relationships between criminal proceedings and digitization processes.
