My research interests are related to:
-)The development and application of optimization algorithms and machine learning techniques to address complex challenges in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology. Specifically, I am interested in using these approaches to analyze biological processes and gene expression data to identify genes and proteins whose behavior, both singularly and in combination, may be causative factors in pathologies or susceptible to modification under specific conditions, such as environmental cues or pharmacological interventions.
-)The development of new support tools for psychology, with a particular interest in the use of Machine Learning and Deep Learning. These advanced methods can provide powerful models to analyze complex psychological data and identify patterns that may not be immediately evident using traditional statistical techniques.
