I miei interessi di ricerca sono relativi a:
-)Algoritmi di ottimizzazione e tecniche di Machine Learning per la soluzione di problemi di Bioinformatica e Systems Biology, in particolare analisi di processi biologici e analisi di dati di espressione genica, per la determinazione di geni e proteine, il cui comportamento, singolarmente o in insiemi, possa essere alla base di patologie o possa essere modificato da condizioni particolari, come l'ambiente, o dai farmaci.
-)Sviluppo di nuovi strumenti di supporto per la psicologia, con un particolare interesse nell'utilizzo del Machine Learning e Deep Learning. Questi metodi avanzati possono fornire potenti strumenti per analizzare dati psicologici complessi e identificare modelli che potrebbero non essere immediatamente evidenti utilizzando tecniche statistiche tradizionali.
