Thémis Apostolidis is Full Professor of Health Social Psychology (Aix-Marseille University, France). He created the master on social psychology of health (2005) and directed the Laboratory of Social Psychology at Aix-Marseille University (2010-18). His research focuses on the socio-symbolic and ideological aspects of social representations, the psychosocial factors involved in individual and social behaviors (e.g. time perspective), and methodological triangulation. He has published numerous articles and book chapters on the application of psychosocial theories to the analysis of social actors' attitudes towards health and illness. He has carried out numerous scientific expertise missions and several conferences and interventions in the field of public health.
