Research: Binomials in Legal Language: A Comparative Analysis of Selected Legal Genres in British, American, and Australian English.

Tomasz Janocha holds master’s degrees in Law and in English Philology from the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. He is currently a doctoral student at the Doctoral School of the University of Silesia and Sapienza Univeristy of Rome, where he is pursuing research in the field of linguistics. His scholarly interests lie primarily in jurilinguistics and sociolinguistics, with a particular focus on the intersection between language and law as well as the social dimensions of linguistic phenomena. In his doctoral research, he explores the relationship between linguistic structures and legal discourse, seeking to contribute to the broader understanding of how language functions within legal and institutional contexts. In addition to his academic work, he is professionally affiliated with the Rector’s Office of the University of Silesia and Notarial Chamber in Katowice, Poland.
