Research: New approaches to raising young learners' awareness of English as a Lingua Franca (ELF) through technology-enabled interactions: from intercultural telecollaboration to generative AI
Tatiana Kozlova is currently enrolled in a PhD program in English Language, Literature, and Translation Studies, with a specific focus on the linguistic and translation curriculum. In 2023, she graduated with honors in Languages and Literatures for Teaching and Translation from Roma Tre University, presenting a thesis titled "Raising ELF-awareness in the English Classroom." Previously, in 2021, she earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in Languages and Literatures for Intercultural Communication from the same university.
She has long been committed to innovative language teaching, both as a researcher and educator. Her main research interests include English as a Lingua Franca, sociocultural theory, educational linguistics, and the potential of artificial intelligence in second language acquisition.
She is currently a member of the Associazione Italiana di Anglistica, the European Society for the Study of English, and the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language.
