Susy Piovesana obtained her Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences in 2014. She is a co-author (ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7134-7421) of several publications in high-impact international journals, as indexed in the Scopus database (Scopus Author ID: 36170963500), which reports over 3,000 citations and an h-index of 35.
Her research focuses on the development and validation of innovative analytical methods based on liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry, both low and high resolution, for multi-analyte determination of natural and anthropogenic substances in environmental, food, plant, and biological matrices.
Her scientific activity can be categorized into five main research areas: proteomics and peptidomics (A), peptidomics of short-chain peptides (B), lipidomics (C), metabolomics (D), and the analysis of small molecules in food, environmental, and biological fields (E).
