Associate Professor in Musicology and the History of Music at the University of Cassino, Susanna Pasticci has been a Faculty member in the PhD program in “Music and Performing Arts” of “Sapienza” University of Rome since 2004. Her research follows three main areas of investigation: musical repertories from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries; music theory and analysis; philological investigations and a study of creative processes. She authored books on Schenkerian Analysis, Set Theory, and Stravinsky's sacred music; in addition to critical editions of instrumental music and opera, she has edited volumes on Formenlehre, passacaglia, musical hermeneutics, music and identity. Engaged in many international committees and research groups, she has been responsible for research projects funded by MIUR, Lazio Region and Sardinia Region. Editor of the «Rivista di Analisi e Teoria Musicale» from 2012 to 2017, she is currently the editor of «Chigiana. Journal of Musicological Studies», a member of the Editorial Board of the "Edizione Nazionale dei documenti e dei carteggi verdiani" and a member of the Advisory Board of the journal «Archival Notes». She collaborates on the radio programmes WikiMusic and Lezioni di musica, broadcasted by RAI Radiotre.
