My current research centers on the use of non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) to investigate various dimensions of performance monitoring. This includes studying cognitive conflict through phase shifted tACS and examining the interaction between embodiment and error monitoring networks using an innovative combination of TMS, EEG and immersive virtual reality. Moreover, I am actively involved in projects exploring the neuromodulatory effects of low-intensity transcranial focused ultrasound stimulation (tFUS), as well as investigating how ownership and agency influence (im)moral behavior through EEG and immersive virtual reality.
