Stefano Livi is an Full Professor of Social Psychology and Coordinator of the PhD program in "Social, Developmental Psychology and Educational Research" in the Department of Social and Developmental Psychology at University of Rome “Sapienza”, where earned his PhD in Social Psychology. His main research interests are social and cognitive factors affecting human social behavior and include two main topics: The first refers to group processes in terms of socialization, leadership emergence, intergenerational transmission and interpersonal perceptions in romantic relationship; the second line includes attitude-behavior consistency in applied settings (e.g. marketing, medical, and information communication technology). Both research lines are investigated using social cognition approach such as laboratory and field experiments and observations. He published in national and international journals, including Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Leadership Quarterly, Personality and Individual Differences. He is currently Director of the Master in Military Psychology and co-editor of Psychology Hub
