Born in Rome in 1973.
Ms Degree in Architecture  at University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1999. 
In 1999 he met Nicola Di Battista and starts a collaboration and a friendship with him. 
Since 2002 he is PhD in Energy and Environmental Technologies for Sustainable Development at La Sapienza.
In 2003 he spent a year as a fellow at ETH Zurich, attending Hans Kollhoff’s Nach Diplom Studium.
From 2004 to 2012 he taught the Building Studio  at the Polytechnic of Bari, in the school of Architecture founded by Claudio D’Amato, one of his mentors. Here he collaborates in many graduation projects  with Michele Beccu.
Since 2012 he has been teaching at the Faculty of Architecture of Sapienza, at the Department of Structural and Geotechnical Engineering. He io full professor of Technological design courses in the Architecture and Product Design Master degree courses.
Since 2018 he has been President of the Inter-Faculty Master’s Degree Course in Project Management and Construction of Building Systems.
He has been part of  Nicola Di Battista’s new Domus from the September 2013 issue to December 2017.
He is the author of 6 monographs on the issues of design and technologies and of 150 scientific publications and essays. Director of the scientific series ADT (Architecture, Design, Technologies). Since 2021 he has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the Diid magazine.
Since 2000 he has participated in national and international projects and competitions, with significant awards and prizes as a designer and consultant.
In 2021 is founding partner of BEST design ldt, a university start-up of Sapienza University of Rome.
From 2022 up to 2025 he is deputy director of Interdeparmental Research Centre CITERA at Sapienza University of Rome from 2022
Lives and works in Rome.
