Research: The market of essential goods in Late Antique Ostia: Amphorae and Amphora-makers from the latest archaeological investigations
Ph.D. candidate in Archaeology, specializing in Archaeology and Post-Classical Antiquities at La Sapienza University of Rome, with a project titled "The market of essential goods in Late Antique Ostia: Amphorae and Amphora-makers from the latest archaeological investigations." The project, born within the framework of the Ostia Marina Project, aims to study amphora material to understand and outline the specificity of products in its market. The development of this theme, along with detailed comparisons with archaeological materials from other Ostian contexts, seeks to comprehend which products were part of local consumption and the nature of amphoric material entering the Ostian market.
