Ricerca: 3D ultrasonic tomography for non-destructive structural inspection and image reconstruction

Shayesteh Naghinajad, is a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the University "La Sapienza" of Rome. She is currently involved in the study of 3D ultrasonic tomography for non-destructive structural inspection and image reconstruction. Research interests: ultrasonic tomography, reconstruction of 3D images, Radon transform, wave propagation in waveguides, non-destructive structural inspection Graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2017 and obtained the Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2019 Ranked best student among the M.Sc. students, based on the overall GPA. In 2020 he won an international scholarship from the Sapienza University of Rome to access the doctoral program.
