Research: Land consumption change detection mapping by integrating SAR and optical data and using Machine Learning Algorithms

Research activities in the field of environmental monitoring, with a particular focus on land consumption, using satellite images and artificial intelligence.

Academic Background:
2024: PhD in Infrastructure and Transport - Project: Land take monitoring and mapping using SAR and optical data (Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2) applying AI techniques (ML). The project is implemented in Google Earth Engine (GEE).

2022: Researcher at EU TalentON - A European competition held in Leiden (The Netherlands) involving young researchers from all over Europe, focused on finding solutions to current major challenges. A total of 104 people were selected to participate. - Project: satellite images were used to optimize crops.
