Salvatore Ferri is a Full Professor of Business Economics at the University of Rome La Sapienza.
He is also a Chartered Accountant and Certified Auditor. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Economics and is a member of the Ph.D. Board in Business Economics at the University of Rome La Sapienza.He is registered in the Reprise (the registry of scientific experts established by MIUR) for the sections: Basic Research, Economic-Financial Evaluation, and Administrative-Accounting Audit. He serves as a contact person for the VQR (Research Quality Evaluation) and is a member of the Italian Society of Accounting and Business Economics (SIDREA) and the Italian Academy of Business Economics (AIDEA). He serves as a member of the OIC Working Group for national accounting principles and has played roles as Guest Editor, Editorial Board Member, and Reviewer for national and international scientific journals. Salvatore Ferri has coordinated and participated in research projects, held positions in the teaching staff of Master's programs and other Ph.D. programs, and has been Associate Professor, Researcher, and Research Fellow.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Accounting and Business Economics (SIDREA) and has been a speaker at numerous national and international conferences. His scientific activity and publications primarily focus on the following themes: intellectual capital, corporate governance, business crises, accounting, economic capital assessment, sustainability, and gender issues.
