Research: Machine Learning Application for Smart Multimodal Corridors
Saeed Mansouryar is a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Civil Construction and Environmental Engineering, specialising in Transportation Systems Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome. He earned his Master's degree in Transportation Systems Engineering from the same institution, achieving final mark of 109/110.
Saeed's expertise encompasses Intelligent Traffic Systems, traffic operations, and modelling and simulations. His current research focuses on adaptive traffic light control, the application of machine learning algorithms to smart corridors with transit priority, and the implementation of variable speed limits. Additionally, he serves as a tutor for microsimulation software such as SUMO and VISSIM, helping to enhance the practical skills of fellow students in traffic modelling and simulation.
