Rosanna Morace in lecturer of Contemporary Italian Literature at Sapienza Universitu of Rome. She holds her PHD in Italian Studies at University of Pisa, and was research Fellow at “La Sapienza” University of Rome, for the project «Bible in poetry. Works of biblical inspiration between XV and XVI century», and «Principes. The birth of Italian literature, classics and printings»; she was also «Young Researcher» at Sassari University for the project «Migrant writers in XXIst century», created, written and developed by her, thanks to a grant funded by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and European Community (L.R. 7/08/2007); and guest Lecturer in Philology of Italian Literature; History of Italian Language; Fundamentals of Writing, at LUMSA University of Rome.
Her main interest of research are directed towards the contemporary novel (in particular global novel); the literature of exile, investigated in its expressive results and the contemporary theater. He was a member of the PRIN 2008 "From the sixteenth-century revival to the twentieth-century metamorphoses of tragedy", focusing on Emma Dante’s theater; she also collaborates with the National Edition for Luigi Capuana's Opera Omnia ", and with the National Edition for Federico De Roberto's Opera omnia.
He has published numerous studies, including philological ones, on the epic and the Renaissance lyric, with particular regard to Bernardo and Torquato Tasso, and to spiritual poetry during the age of the Council of Trento. He won the 2008 Premio Tasso 2008.
