- Cellular biology: cell culture techniques (animal and human cells), DNA and siRNA transfection/transduction, cell treatments, cell viability and proliferation essay, production and use lentiviral vectors.
- Molecular Biology techniques: plasmidic and genomic DNA extraction , RNA extraction, cloning, DNA mutagenesis, reverse transcription, PCR, quantitative real time PCR, luciferase reporter assay.
- Analysis of proteins: protein extraction and western blot analysis, immunoprecipitation.
- Animals (sperimental procedures): mouse handling and mouse organ harvesting, tailing and marking techniques.
