Research: Electrochemically Active Carbon Quantum Dots (C-QDs) for Versatile Energy Storage Applications.
Roberto Nicoletti was born in Rome on July 30, 1997. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a final grade of 104/110 in 2022 from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and his Master's degree in Chemistry with a final grade of 108/110 in 2024 from the same institution. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in "Engineering and Applied Science for Energy and Industry" at Sapienza University of Rome.
His research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of Carbon Quantum Dots, conducted at Sapienza University of Rome, and their subsequent application as electrocatalysts in energy storage devices, a line of research carried out at ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development), Casaccia Research Center.
