Roberto Menichelli was born in Rome on May 26, 1998. He received his master's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2024 and is currently enrolled in the PhD program in Engineering and Applied Science for Energy and Industry at Sapienza University of Rome.

Main areas of research:
- integrated microgrids in renewable energy communities (CER);
- domotic and building automation (BA);
- sizing algorithms for the main components of microgrids;
- IoT devices for the control and monitoring of electrical and energy parameters.

Tutor of the Microgrids - Power Systems in Smart Buildings course for the students of the M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Energy Engineering.
