Research: Diachronic reconstruction of human-environmental relationship: archaeobotany at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Butrint (Albania)

I am graduated both at the bachelor's and master's levels in Cultural Heritage Conservation, with a particular emphasis on archaeobotanical studies. My university theses focused on the analysis of plant macro-remains in medieval archaeological contexts, deepening the understanding of ancient interactions between humanity and the environment. Currently, I am dedicated to the in-depth study of plant macroremains (seeds, wood and fruits) found in various archaeological contexts. My most recent commitment revolves around my PhD project, centered on the UNESCO site of Butrint (Albania), where I apply my expertise to undertake a diachronic reconstruction of the human-environment relationship in this fascinating historical context.
