I am a PhD candidate in Social and Economic Sciences, curriculum Sociology & Applied Social Research.
Currently, I am working as a Junior Research Fellow at the Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies in Rome (CNR) on the ERC Starting Grant project Illicit Labour: Unveiling the Dark Side of the Global Photovoltaic Industry, led by Professor Carlo Inverardi-Ferri.
Previously, I collaborated with the same institute as an external collaborator for six months and, from March to September 2019, with the Cattaneo Institute for Research in Bologna.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Sociology and Social Research from the University of Turin, where I completed a thesis titled “Vite in Galleria: Osservazione partecipante con le persone senza casa di Torino” (vote 110 with honours). I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Bologna.
My current research interests focus on illicit trafficking within the ecological transition, particularly electronic waste (WEEE). Additionally, I am interested in both qualitative and quantitative research methodology.
