Research: Creolism and second generations
A graduate in “International Cooperation and Development” at Sapienza - University of Rome and in “Innovation and Organisation of Culture and the Arts” at Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, I identify culture as one of the pivotal elements of human interaction and representation, which has also been harnessed by political forces as a powerful mean to shape of self-perception and social awareness.
Bearing in mind the role of Biopolitics, Social Psychology and International Policies, my research will follow my thematic question: can Creolism provide an identity parameter also for the so-called Italian "second generations"?. It will present substantial experimental work, making use of on field interviews both in Cuba and in Italy. In order to process the generated database, I will use the Statistical Analysis System - SAS - software, which will enable me to create clusters that share common traits which can constitute a recognizable whole. This will provide a way to convert the collected data in a photograph and thus move towards further analysis.
