Research Interests
Behavioral and/or neurophysiological investigation of executive functions and cognitive control, and their modulations by diverse factors.
I investigate how cognitive control operates in relationship with other cognitive functions (such as reward processing, and spatial attention) in humans.
The goals of the research are: to describe and model the functional architecture of these processes; to define behavioral tasks to investigate how these processes are modified in specific psychiatric and neurological disorders, in collaboration with other investigators; to investigate the neuronal correlates of these processes by recording neural activities from NHPs and from neurosurgical patients, in collaboration with other investigators.
