Research:

I am a petroleum engineer working on the potential of geological storage of carbon dioxide in fractured carbonate reservoirs. In my project, I am involved in static and dynamic modeling of the reservoir using a 3D geological model constructed from seismic data and well log data. The project aims to calculate the CO2 storage capacity of abandoned structures using both static and dynamic approaches. Additionally, the sensitivity of capacity to injection rate and the impact of boundary conditions on CO2 storage capacity estimation are other goals of my project.
