PhD candidate in Law at the University of São Paulo, under a joint supervision agreement with the University of Rome “La Sapienza”; Master’s degree in Civil Procedural Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais; Postgraduate specialization in Procedural Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais; and Law degree from Fundação Universidade de Itaúna and Faculdade de Direito Milton Campos. Executive Director of the Institute of Procedural Law – IDPro. Currently, he is a Professor of Law and a public servant, holding the position of Legal Assistant at the Court of Justice of Minas Gerais. Referee and reviewer of scientific articles for the Public Defender’s Office of Minas Gerais and for the Judicial School Desembargador Edésio Fernandes of the Court of Justice of Minas Gerais. He has experience in the field of Law, with emphasis on Civil Procedural Law and Public Law, focusing mainly on the following topics: fair trial; civil jurisdiction; access to justice; the normative system of judicial precedents; and repetitive litigation.
