Research: Exploring the Efficacy of Potassium Sodium Niobate (KNN)-Based Thin Films for Enhanced Hydrogen Production via Photocatalysis

### Education

**April 2023 - Present**: Ph.D. in Engineering at the Department of Astronautical, Electrical, and Energy Engineering, La Sapienza University of Rome. Thesis on "Potential of KNN (potassium sodium niobate) based thin films for hydrogen production through photocatalysis".

**1997-2003**: Degree in Physics (summa cum laude), Faculty of Physics, Moscow State University. Thesis on "Influence of platelet microparticles on the dynamics of fibrin clot growth during the blood coagulation process".

### Research Experience

**Current Ph.D. Activity**: Research on "Thin films based on KNN (potassium sodium niobate) for hydrogen production through photocatalysis". Investigation of the potential of nanostructured materials for advanced applications in energy conversion and environmental sustainability.

**October 2022 - April 2023**: Department of Civil Engineering, Tor Vergata University of Rome. Research on "Advanced materials for CO2 conversion", focusing on the development of samarium-doped ceria (SDC) membranes for applications in micro-electrochemical devices.

**2002-2003**: Department of Biophysics, National Medical Research Center. Study on the influence of platelet microparticles in the blood coagulation process.

**2001-2002**: Laser Biospectroscopy Laboratory, General Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Research in optical diagnostics and molecular absorption spectroscopy for the non-invasive assessment of nanoparticles in biological tissues.
