Research: Development of piezoresistive nanostructured inks for strain map and defects detection through arti cial intelligence-assisted image recognition techniques

Nicola Pesce (Rome 1993) received his bachelor's and master's degrees in Physics in 2016 and 2019 respectively.

In 2021 he worked at the DIAEE as research fellow for the design and production of graphene-based filled polymer foams for biomedical and astronautical applications.

Since November 2021 he has been enrolled in the PhD course in nanotechnology engineering. The research project, supervised by Professor Alessio Tamburrano, focuses on the creation of piezo-resistive inks for the identification of structural damage assisted by artificial intelligence techniques.
