Research: Data-Driven Multi-Scale Urban Congestion Modelling Using Floating Car Data
Mohadeseh Pasha is a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering, specialising in Transportation Systems Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome. She holds a Master’s degree in Transportation Systems Engineering from the same institution. Her research focuses on the macroscopic assessment of urban areas by analysing Floating Car Data (FCD). This involves generating trips and vehicle trajectories to evaluate network performance using Network-level Fundamental Diagrams (NFDs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). The study also identifies spatial and temporal patterns of parking demand, including the location and intensity of demand, as well as estimating parking search time by detecting spiral movement behaviours in vehicles.
