Research: The rota aquaria in the context of water management in the Roman world
Ph.D. candidate in Archaeology with Classical Curriculum (Cycle XL) with a project that aims to assess the impact that the technological device of the water wheel had on hydraulic engineering in the Roman period and all the implications related to the context of water resource management within the boundaries of the Roman world. The analysis of such a water supply technology will be able to provide an effective key to understanding not only the technological-constructive knowledge and solutions operated in a variety of geographical contexts, but also the socioeconomic dynamics of the ancient world.
Graduated from the School of Specialization in Archaeological Heritage of Sapienza University of Rome (a.y. 2023/2024) with a thesis in Cultural Heritage Communication entitled “Museum of Classical Art of La Sapienza University of Rome: reflections and proposals for enhancement between past and present.”
Master's degree in Archaeology from Sapienza University of Rome (a.y. 2021/2022) with a thesis in Archaeology of the Roman Provinces, entitled “The Monumental Nymphaea of Syria, Arabia and Palestine.”
Bachelor's degree in History and Conservation of the Artistic and Archaeological Heritage at the University of Roma Tre (a.y. 2017/2018) with a thesis in Ancient Topography, entitled “The Aqueducts of the Augustan Age of Rome and Coastal Campania.”
