MAIN RESEARCH INTERESTS

Main research interests focus on psychological measurement and the application of multivariate statistics in the psychological domain. In particular, recent research concerns: (1) measurement issues in personality questionnaires (e.g. socially desirable responding, response set and response biases, impression management, method effects due to items wording), (2) the assessment of personality in applied settings, (3) the role of individual differences in personality (e.g. basic traits, personal values) in predicting individual’s preferences and performance, (4) the issue of measurement invariance across different cultural contexts and administration modes, (5) the longitudinal investigation of stability and change of personality.


EDITORIAL AND REVIEWING ACTIVITIES

From 2013 to 2019: Associate editor for BMC Psychology (Editorial Board Member for the ‘Social, organizational and cultural psychology’ section).

Since 2017: Consulting editor for the British Journal of Social Psychology.

Since 2017: Member of the editorial board of the European Journal of Psychological Assessment.

Since 2020: Associate editor for Psychological Test Adaptation and Development (PDAT).
