Ricerca: Design of mechanical metamaterials based on TPMS structure

Meng Wang (born in 1996) is a PhD student in DIAEE, Sapienza University of Rome.

He got the MSc degree from "La Sapienza" in 2022 with final grade 109/110, the master dissertation title "Numerical modelling of wave propagation in prestressed media".
He got BSc degree from Tongji University in Shanghai, China, with the thesis title "Lamb waves propagation in composite materials".

His researches include sonic/phononic crystals, structral health monitoring and nonlinear elastic waves, his recend work is develping a biphasic metamaterials which can present simultaneous solid and fluid bandgaps, this work is under the supervision of Prof. Annamaria Pau and Prof. Marco Lepidi.
