I am a tenured research scientist at Fondazione Bruno Kessler where I hold the role of Head of the Intelligent Digital Agents Research Group. Then, I am also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Trento where, within my teaching duties, I have the
responsibility for the laboratory course on Foundational of Artificial Intelligence. I am deeply involved in the Artificial Intelligence research area with a focus on specific topics: knowledge management, natural language processing, neuro-symbolic AI,
trustworthy AI, and information retrieval. Besides the research activities, I have a strong commitment to transferring my research outcomes into prototypes working in real-world settings.
In the last few years, I worked mainly within the digital health field where I had the opportunity to deploy real-time reasoning systems and conversational-oriented solutions into several solutions.
