Research:

Dr Martina Del Priore is a PhD student, with scholarship, in Roman Law, Theory of the Orders and Private Market Law (Curriculum Theory of the Orders - Canon Law and Ecclesiastical Law) at the Faculty of Law of the University of Rome Sapienza (cycle XXXVII). She holds a degree in Law from the University of Roma Tre and a University Diploma from the Alta Scuola Roma Tre (ASTRE). During her university period she participated in three different international exchanges, two in Spain and one in Colombia, where she carried out research for her dissertation at the Pontifica Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá.
Subsequently, she first obtained a Master's degree in "Clinical Criminology, Legal Psychology and Forensic Psychiatry" at the Sapienza University of Rome and then specialised in the practice of the Legal Professions. Since 2019, she has been cultrice della materia in Canon Law and Ecclesiastical Law, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Rome Sapienza (Prof. Beatrice Serra).
She was the winner of the call for the assignment of a tutoring position (year 2023, sector IUS-11), carried out from November 2023 to February 2024 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Rome Sapienza and of the university call for research, (year 2022), presenting a project for the start-up of research entitled "Religious freedom and detention conditions: Articulations of a fundamental right in Italian prison facilities in the context of a multicultural and multireligious society", carried out at the Faculty of Law of the University of Rome Sapienza.
She has worked and continues to work as a consultant at various penal institutions and has been an expert at the Tribunale di sorveglianza di Roma, since 2023.
She is the author of numerous scientific and didactic works in Canon Law and Ecclesiastical Law.
She has participated in numerous conferences and congresses, also as a speaker.
She is a member of the ADEC association (association of university lecturers in the legal discipline of the religious phenomenon) and the Italian Canon Law Association.
