Graduated with honors at Sapienza University of Rome in 2004, she is qualified in 2005 as Architect. In 2009 she is PhD in Survey and Representation of Architecture and the Environment at the University of Florence presenting a doctoral thesis entitled: "The 'scientific stereotomy' in Amedée François Frézier, prodromes of descriptive geometry in the science of stone-cutting", which received two awards, the UID silver plate and the publication with the Firenze University Press. In 2010-11, she obtains a Research grant from the Department of Survey, Analysis and Design of Environment and Architecture of Sapienza University of Rome.
In 2014 she obtains the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor.
From 2016 she is Researcher fixed-term (A-type), at the Department of History, Representation and Restoration of Architecture, at Sapienza University of Rome.

His research activity focuses on the study of the disciplines of representation as a whole, with particular reference to descriptive geometry, its theoretical foundations and its applications, in its historical development and its innovative potential.
The conducted studies concern in a transversal way the evolution of geometric thought, with respect to the progressive refinement of the projective theories at the basis of representation methods and, at the same time, with respect to the progressive definition of lines and surfaces theory addressed to the geometric control of the architectural form. In particular, she conducted studies on perspective and its applications between Renaissance and Baroque, such as scenography and illusory architectures, studies on stereotomy and gnomonics and also on surfaces, their properties and their applications. In the field of perspective, she participated to the National Edition of the treatise De Prospectiva Pingendi by Piero della Francesca.
She is interested in digital methods of representation and rapid prototyping techniques for the communication of architecture through the construction of design or survey models. She conducted several experimentations on the construction of digital reasoned models, even parametric, devoted to the critical analysis of theorized, realized or designed architectural form and its communication.
She deals with methodologies of integrated surveyis, with particular reference to digital photogrammetry, focusing the themes related to the resolution measurement of photographic shots for the acquisition of survey data.
She is author of several articles on these topics, presented at international conferences and published in volumes and specialist journals. From 2013 she is reviewer of the peer-reviewed journal for researchers Nexus Network Journal (class A) and she is also reviewer of international conferences and workshops.
Since 2006, she is continuously involved in teaching. In particular, she has held courses in Drawing, Drawing and Representation and Fundamentals and applications of descriptive geometry.
