Maria Laura Santarelli
Chemist, PhD in Materials Engineering, Raw Materials and Metallurgy.
Lecturer for the Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering and Materials and for the Master's Degree in Science and Technology for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Rome Sapienza

She is currently Associate Professor with a teaching position at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Environment Materials, she adheres to the Research Center in Science and Technique for the Conservation of Historical and Architectural Heritage (CISTeC) and at the Center of Applied Nanotechnology for Engineering (CNIS) Sapienza University of Rome.

She is a lecturer at the Degree Course in Chemical Engineering and Materials with the course of Polymerization Processes and at the Degree in Science and Technology for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage with the Degradation and Conservation of Non Metallic Materials course. She also lectures at the CAF in Polymerization Processes and Polymeric Materials - MOPLEN SCHOOL.

In her scientific activity she has published several international and national articles.

For more than 20 years she has been carrying out academic and scientific researches in the fields of polymer science, construction materials (ancient and modern) and petroleum derivatives.
Recently, she has gained experience in the study of optoelectronics, graphene materials and nanomaterials.
