Research: The impact of companies on sustainable mobility and environment: mobility management and smart working
My name is Maria Giulia Bove and I hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome in 2023. During my academic journey, I gained a solid theoretical and practical foundation in fields such as medical imaging, biomechanics and tissue engineering. Among the academic projects I participated in, I worked on organ and system reconstructions using the 3D Slicer software and conducted studies on material and animal tissue deformation through various biomechanical tests. This allowed me to develop advanced skills in analyzing and processing complex data, using specific tools in the field.
Shortly after graduation, I became interested in the world of transportation, particularly sustainable mobility, and started a collaboration with a company in the sector. I was fascinated by the topic, given its current relevance, and became increasingly aware of how it can impact the environment and our planet's future. For this reason, I decided to specialize in this field by pursuing a PhD in Transportation Engineering, for which I was awarded a scholarship in April 2024.
