Research:

I studied Physics at the University of Rome La Sapienza motivated by the desire to know and understand the reality we observe. During the master degree in Condensed Matter Physics I broadened my scientific interests by approaching the field of biophysics and in particular biophotonics. I indeed completed an experimental master's thesis by applying spectroscopic methods to the study of photosensitive proteins on the nanometric scale.
I am currently working on the PhD project "Infrared laser spectrocopy for the study of proteins at the nanoscale" co-funded by Regione Lazio and the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), which offers me with the opportunity to undertake a research activity in a multidisciplinary environment and to combine scientific interest in the study of biological phenomena with the innovative development of technologies that can be applied to the life sciences.
