Research: Novel bioelectrochemical reactor concepts for treatment of groundwater contaminated by hydrocarbons and other oxidizable contaminats

11/2021-Present: Winner of PhD scholarship in Chemical Processes for Industry and the Environment at the Bioprocess laboratory under the coordination of Prof. Federico Aulenta. The scholarship is promoted by Sapienza University of Rome.

05/2021-10/2021: Winner of a research scholarship, promoted by the IRSA-CNR Water Research Institute on the topic "Development of new bioelectrochemical processes for the treatment of soils and water contaminated by hydrocarbons" under the scientific coordination by Prof. Federico Aulenta.

2018-2020: Sapienza University of Rome - Master's Degree in Environmental and Industrial Genomic Biotechnologies with 110 cum laude.
Thesis "Development and characterization of a bioelectrochemical reactor for the treatment of groundwater contaminated by toluene and sulphate". The thesis was also awarded within the RemTechExpo 2021 with the Degree Award in Remediation of Contaminated Aquifers promoted by the "Groundwater Engineering Group" of the Politecnico di Torino
