I am Mahnaz, a researcher with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Transport Systems Engineering, dedicated to advancing sustainable urban transport solutions and understanding commuting behavior. My PhD research centres on analyzing commuting patterns in Italy, applying statistical techniques such as K-means clustering and spatial analysis.

My work also explores differences in commuting behaviour by gender and age, using descriptive and cluster analysis to uncover valuable insights. I have a particular interest in road safety, focusing on influencing public attitudes to create safer, more responsible environments for cyclists and all road users. Through my research, I aim to develop inclusive, sustainable transportation solutions that meet the diverse needs of urban communities.
