Ludovica Placidi graduated in Biomedical Engineering in October 2024 from the University of Rome "La Sapienza". Since November 1, 2024, she has been pursuing a PhD in Mathematical Models for Engineering, Electromagnetics, and Nanosciences.
During her university studies, she received a scholarship for the IMAGO project and completed internships at the IRCCS San Raffaele in Rome and the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital in Rome. In these experiences, her research focused on motion analysis in Parkinson’s patients using wearable sensors and on the study of quantitative imaging by leveraging the electrical properties of tissues.
