Thesis title: Finanziamento, gestione e costo dell’edilizia pubblica. I monumenti del culto imperiale nell’Hispania romana come caso di analisi
This doctoral thesis aims to understand the cultural, economic, social and managerial dynamics that made possible the materialization of the great monumental works in the Roman world.
To address this complexity, the research adopts a markedly multidisciplinary approach, choosing as its specific case study the buildings dedicated to the Imperial cult erected in the provinces of the Iberian Peninsula starting from the early Imperial age. The fundamental objective is not only to estimate the "cost" of these works but to reconstruct the entire process that generated them: from their ideological and administrative origin to their concrete realization and their economic impact
