Research:
After graduating in Science of Archaeological Heritage, discussed at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, I had the opportunity to benefit from the “Wanted the Best” scholarship (a.a. 2017/18) at the University of Rome Sapienza, where I obtained the title of Master's Degree in Archaeology with the recognition of Excellent Graduate in a.a. 2018/19. In the same Athenaeum I continued my studies by acquiring the degree of School of Specialization in Archaeological Heritage (classical archaeology curriculum).
In my academic career I have developed interests in the field of urban history of ancient Rome and participated in excavations, workshops and research projects dedicated to the analysis of urban contexts and monuments, including through the study of architectural decoration of the imperial age.
I have participated in excavations with several Universities, on rural, urban and necropolis contexts, in the Magno-Greek (Cumae, NA; Egnatia, BR), Etruscan (Campo della Fiera, TR), late ancient and early medieval (Amitenum, AQ; Eremo di S. Marco in Lamis, FG). In particular, since 2016 I have been collaborating with the International Society for Archaeology, Art and Architecture of Rome (ISAR) in the project “Signum Vortumni: the Tarquins and Rome” for the excavation of the Horrea Agrippiana (Colosseum Archaeological Park) and since 2019 I have been part of the team in the archaeological excavation of the Horrea Piperataria (Colosseum Archaeological Park) as part of the “Velia Project - Grandi Scavi Sapienza” directed by Prof. D. Palombi.
In my research project I analyze the urban landscape of Rome, in its public private and sacred components, through the political changes that take place between the late republic and early imperial age by means of the figure of Mark Antony, the Antonii and the Antonians.
